About Us
Who We Are

We are all about educating pet owners about how to tend to the long term health of their pets.

Vision

The goal for the future of EVC is to empower pet owners so they can more confidently navigate veterinary appointments and avoid being taken advantage of.  As the educational material solidifies and as the public interest piques more classes will be added to include more specific topics such as allergy control, gut health, feline kidney failure and more.   Eventually, classes will be made available for download and attendance of live events will be possible online.

Ultimately, I envision a renaissance of pet ownership that shifts the focus from capital driven healthcare to holistic and integrative health, powered by the human animal bond through close attention and self-care, coached by a veterinarian who has become frustrated and disheartened by venture capital groups taking over the pet industry in all aspects.

Mission

Mission Statement for EPIPHANY VET CARE: Reclaiming Your Pet’s Health & Saving Money on Unnecessary Vet Visits

The presence of a pet in an individual’s or family’s home can be life changing and even, at times, life saving.  Most pet owners would agree- this is not an exaggeration.  Unfortunately the potential for pet care to be so expensive that it prevents people from becoming pet parents is very real.  For many, the cost of veterinary care has already become out of reach. Change needs to happen!

Epiphany Vet Care (EVC) focuses on educating the pet owning public on the most valuable and effective methods of maintaining their pets’ health life as long as possible while simultaneously empowering them to recognize where they may be able to save money during vet visits and when purchasing pet products.  EVC strives to make veterinary visits less stressful for pet owners by informing clients on the foundations of at home pet care and sharing insights they likely have never heard from a veterinarian before taking a class from me, Dr. Cruz.

The information provided in class is intended to compliment each pet owners’ level of experience and is by no means solely intended for “new” pet owners.  There will be pet owning epiphanies for all levels of experienced pet owners.
